cbook said... Fluke 45 Training There is only one problem with this unit; it is the 10Amp range AC, from 57hz to 63hz.
You can start the problem by pressing DC amps button, then the AC amps button. Sometimes it will start on its own. There are two ways of determining whether or not it is in the problem mode: 1) The unit’s display will wander from a low reading of 9.940 to 10.018, (the tolerance for that level is 9.890 to 10.110). It will do this in the slow, medium, and fast ranges. 2) Input 10amps at 60hz; if the display is wandering, change the frequency to 59hz and 61hz. The display reading will start to jump around. To get the unit out of this problem state, press the Auto button once. You can press it twice to put it back in the Auto mode, but sometimes it will go back to wandering.
