Do you require a purchase order for equipment service?
Yes, we would prefer to have a purchase order for calibration services but no, it is not required. We also accept payments via credit card or ACH.
Do you require RMAs for equipment service?
We do not require RMAs at this time but it is very nice to know that units are being shipped to us.
How often do you pick-up/deliver?
Our current route is scheduled to run once a week, usually on Tuesday, but we also make special pick-ups and deliveries if we are in the area. Occasionally, the route day may be altered due to holidays, customer closures, or extreme driving conditions. We will provide notice when possible.
What is the cost for shipping of equipment?
For pick-up and/or delivery, our rates are $7.50 each way for most equipment, with a maximum shipping charge of $60.00. There is a $5.00 handling fee for assets shipped via UPS on a customer account number. The handling fee is $10.00 for FedEx services because we have to take the shipment to FedEx. If we do not have a shipping account number from our customer, the $5.00 handling fee is added to UPS shipping charges.
How far in advance should I schedule an on-site calibration?
As a rule, the earlier the better but we prefer for our customers to schedule on-site calibrations as soon as they receive the Recall Roster if possible, or one to two months in advance.
What is the average turnaround time for in-house calibration?
The turn time for shop calibration services is 7 to10 business days after receipt of equipment. Expedited services with a 1 to 2 day turn time can be requested in advance and will be provided depending on availability of Technicians and Standards.
